Heat Flow Engineer
be involved in every stage of design and development. Your main focus will be on the thermal design of the generators.
Your Tasks
- Analyse new and existing systems in our wind turbine with respect to their thermal design and heat flow.
- Optimise the above-mentioned systems to improve wind turbine efficiency.
- Develop cooling/heating systems or components for our wind turbines.
- Support activities carried out by colleagues or third parties.
- Include requirements following from standards.
- Create solutions in case of urgent issues.
- To play an important role in component selection.
- To design test protocols.
- To use the applicable standards.
- To be informed of developments in state of the art technology.
- To improve the wind turbine efficiency, reliability and availability.
- To bear co-responsibility for optimal design together with other engineers.
- To add to generator design in co-operation with the lead engineers mechanical design and electromagnetic design.
- To asses designs.
- To asses work that has not been carried out properly by third parties in own specialism.
- To provide technical advice.
- Fluency in English.
- Command of Dutch or Korean is beneficial.
We are looking for an engineer with a M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. The candidate needs to have a minimum of 5 years experience in the analysis/design/optimisation of
complex systems with multi-domain interactions
