European POS Coördinator
The POS Coordinator is responsible for forecasting and purchase related issues of Giant in Europe. This includes the Effective POS management and stock control for the direct sales markets of Giant Europe International, correct purchase orders from distributors to factories worldwide, communication & co-ordination between factories and distributors and pro-active support to sales companies for POS management and stock control.
Tasks & responsibilities
The European POS Coordinator is responsible for:
- Determining key models for direct sales countries together with account manager Giant Europe International
- Analyzing and determining seasonal patterns and lay down into AXAPTA
- Set up forecast, maintain forecast & place purchase orders (bikes and p&a) to factories together with sales agents for direct sales markets
- Consolidate purchase orders of distributors (bikes and p&a) and forward to factory
- Enabling effective communication between distributors, agents & factories:
- o Order status
- o Lead time
- o Changes/delays
- Contact window for purchase orders, sales orders and stock situation for sales agents
- Handling of drop shipment orders to port of destination for distributors
- Handling and performing swap orders for distributors & agents from European stock
- Handling of sample orders for distributors
- Coordination of samples for photo shoot
- Stock control & management (end stock) for Giant Europe International (GE)
- POS support to sales companies (GB, GUK, GG, GW, GF)
- Analyze forecasts, purchase orders, stock and backorders GESC’s and give (compelling) advice to GESC’s in case of discrepancies.
- Active monitoring & support in European stock control
- Setting up and sending the weekly sales and stock report (WSSR) to all managers concerned
- Setting up AXAPTA improvement training in the functional area
- Backup for related tasks in QA/SCM in case of illness or holiday
