Certification Engineer
involved in every stage of design and development and you will report to the Electrification and Controls Manager.
Your tasks
- Contact certification bodies, generate and discuss specifications with the certification bodies.
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a certification project.
- Review deliverables prepared by team before submitting to certification body.
- Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards.
- Ensure that project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Organise field tests in cooperation with the certifying body.
- Organise factory and production inspections in cooperation with the certifying body.
- To manage the certification process between certifying body and all involved engineering departments.
- To ensure that all activities and requirements regarding wind turbine certification programs are met.
- To interface with outside testing organizations.
- To oversee the development of standards and testing materials.
- Able to understand the wind turbine certification process as standardized in the IEC61400-22.
- Able to asses work that has not been carried out properly by third parties in own specialism.
- Able to provide technical advice.
We are looking for an engineer with a bachelor's degree in the area of specialty BSc. The candidate needs to have a minimum of 5 years experience in the field of product certification.
